Meadowdale Academy endeavours to work with staff, pupils and parents/carer to create a simple and effective E-Safety policy which can be applied across the curriculum. We value the use of new technologies such as iPads and Raspberry Pi’s and incorporate these into all lessons with E-Safety in mind.
At regular intervals we review our E-Safety policy to ensure that pupils are never at risk and aim to successfully educate all our pupils about “how to stay safe online” so that hopefully they never put themselves in danger, however if they do they know they are safe and able to report it. We also link our E-Safety policies with other school wide policies such as Safeguarding and Anti Bullying.
All our pupils have signed an acceptable use policy in their planners and all of our staff have signed an acceptable use policy and E-Safety policy. Copies of these can be found below.
